Hi everyone!

I've thrown such a thread a few months ago, now back to the subject.

I'm looking for pics/drawings/instructions on the colorful Braniff B727-200 by Calder, specially pics from above/below showing how wings and stabs were painted.

Special question: were those wings/stabs all white, or were they light gray?

All help appreciated!

Kind regards

Eduardo

Maybe this link will help?

http://www.braniffpages.com/calder/408.html

I would say: The wings & stabs were white.

Wings and stabs were white.
I can say that the aircraft was "overall white" except of part of the engine and the anterior of the wings and stabs which were metallic.
Take a look at my Hasegawa 727 in Calder livery, I painted it after having looked at many photos on the web.

Sven and Stefano, thanks for showing up!

All pics were great help, indeed!

Stefano, you did a great job on your model! I actually had already used your pics as primary reference for making my own decals into this project.

However, I still miss pics from below. Could you provide some pics from your model, looking from below? That's basically all that's missing for me to move on with this custom decal project!

Thanks again, you guys!

Regards

Eduardo

Underside was all white also. Will see if I can find my instruction sheet from the JetSet decals to help you if you need further help.

Frank, the instruction sheet arrived on tuesday!

It's a new record we have here: you posted it on friday, so post service transit was 4 days from posting to delivery!

Plus: it's really great help, thanks again, my friend!

Kind regards

Eduardo
