Avro: How do you get onto their web site? The address for the one given in Al Aronoff's Internet Modeller article doesn't work. |

The site is great, I have not tried the decals yet since it said on the site that they were not ready for orders. That was until late last night. I guess they are ready now. The level of detail on the decals is what I noticed. I will order a couple very soon but I have been chating with Gaston and he is a very nice guy. A busy man himself! |

I'm going to grab the 727 Aero Peru "Mexican" set and one of the Aero Continente sets. I also appreciate all the detail decals on the sheets as well. As usual, though, the bulk of the designs are "white whales" to some extent or other. Ah well. Thank God I build so many old propliners....

I've just received my first order from Nazca and I'm very impressed. Firstly, they arrived very quickly (within five working days from Germany to UK). Secondly, the decals themselves look absolutely superb; excellent register and colours, white underlay for light colours going onto dark paint, loads of detailing and very good colour instructions with colour references. I haven't tried them out yet (they look so good it almost seems an act of vandalism to cut them out and put them on a model!), but they look every bit as good as, if not better than, the best from F-DCAL or Drawdecal. This guy has done a first-class job and deserves our support. Al Al |

Hi Folks! I want to use this opportunity to announce my new line of Laser/Alps printed decals. The project was started more than a couple of years ago with the motivation of offering high quality decals to my fellow modelers interested in building Latin American model kits, I started designing some Aeroper? decals for Greg Drawbaugh from Draw Decals, and decided later, to start my own project to work with more flexibility. At this time I would like to express my sincerely thanks to Greg for all his help. The initial idea was to have a decal range of only Latin-American and Caribbean based airlines. Nevertheless, as time passed, I became influenced by my flying enviroment as a copilot in the ?Lufthansa Regional group? and decided to extend the collection to include other interesting and ?more international? items. My dedication is set in providing a very complete decal-set with not only accurate and original designs but also, the necessary amount of detail to give the model the most realistic appearance possible. You will notice that detailed doors and very nice shadowed windows as well as cargo doors, in some cases wing corroguard ,service bays, stencils and all noticeable data for the aircraft concerned are, when not provided whith the original kit, included in the sets. Thus, all the data used in the developing of the decals is based on real information. The decals are printed on a high quality laser printer in a selected print shop, not a home printer, giving me the posibility to achieve high resolutions and very brilliant print-outs. All white and metallic data are printed on a OKI DP-5000 using Alps technology. So I can combine both printing systems to offer the best posible ?alternate method? decal and make the decalling work easier. The website is already online. The URL is: www.nazca-decals.com. Most of the products there are ready to go and can be easily ordered online using the PayPal link. Dozens of projects are in the ?holding pattern? and will be released periodically. We send the orders to the print shop weekly to simplify the process. For ordering information please visit the website. Allthough my prime goal isn?t to make custom decals, I am very pleased to receive special wishes and recomendations from your side. And don?t forget, modelling is a hobby! So enjoy it. Best regards, Gast?n Roca www.nazca-decals.com |

Gracias Gaston! Since I was just a small boy who happenned to like airliners I was amazed by those AeroPeru Tristars and those misterious birds painted on the fuselage (later I was told they are Nazca figures so it is a great subject for your project). I used to see them parked next to AM`s DC-10`s and I think they were in many ways responsible for my present day fascination with trijets. Also enjoyed AeroPer?`s DC-10`s, 727`s and DC-8`s. It was a colorful carrier that I really miss. Now I have a FOF project with on of those sets and a 737-800. A very beatiful place Peru...and Germany too!!! My ex-girlfriend (from Bremen) lives now in Ravensburg so I used to visit FDH airport quite often. viele Gr?sse Albrecht "el" 10th master Long live the trijet |

Gaston: Dear Gast?n: Do your 737 decals for the Aeroper? 737-200 (aep001 experimental c/s 1) fit the Airfix 737? May I make a suggestion? I am interested in stretching a MD-80 into a MD-90 using the BraZ kit. Unfortunately, there is a shortage of MD-90 decals. First, I am interested in Delta's current scheme. Second, I am intersted in the various rainbow schemes of JAS with the colors wrapping around the fuselage. The rainbow wedges look great too, and afterall might be more practicable to apply as a decal. Thanks. Carter |

Hi Folks, Thank you very much for your interest and best wishes, i?m working hard to produce lot of nice schemes. Aeroper? decals from the begining till the Aeromexico era are in the design table and will be published periocally, the first two 757 schemes for Aeroper? and Aeromexico will be soon available, all others, including the Aeroper? Tristar and Aeroper? DC-10 with full detail data will be also available hopefully in January. Some other mexican and centrala american beauties are also flying around in my mind! The MD line is now in the Basic draw line, That means , I?m finalizing and testing the windows, doors plus detail data, the scheme detail will come starting afterwards, The first decals will be the Avianca anniversary sceme and ????, keep tuned. the Aeroper? decals "are" desined and tested for the Airfix 737-200, I just corrected the size and position of the wrong windows arrangement in the kit, nevertheles, the textured windows are just an option and you can allways use the provided kit perfored windows. Kurt, Ich habe dir eine mail geschickt, melde dich mal. best regards, Gast?n. |

Hi Frank, momentarily no, but i?m looking for the posibility to implement, what would be preferable, Visa. Mastecard? You can also order and pay via certified airmail, for this, you can print the order in the "how to order" section and send it along with your payment. Rgds, Gast?n. |
