Sergio, great new and thanks for the link ! I wonder if Braz and his 3D model is behind this Zvezda kit ? Anyway it looks gorgeous and I really like the way they tooled the lower 1 part wing assembly. This will be the perfect "snack" before the Boeing 747-8 International. Cheers, Steven |

I will definitely get one! or two.. when will it be available? Just have to decide whether to do Armavia or Aeroflot. What decals will be provided? Just the prototype? |

Sigh... How about a decent, regular injection molded Tu-104, 124, 134 (I know there is one, sort of), etc, etc, etc? The Superjet is going nowhere fast. |

It's really well worth buying, especially when looking at the price. The parts are crisp, with very nice recessed details and a very clear cockpit window (and two strips with passenger windows). Previous Zvezda kits sometimes were a bit sparse on detail on the landing gear and fanblades (except for the 787 of course) but this one has very nicely molded wheels with detailed rims and brake discs and turbofans with a good set of fan blades on the front and turbine blades on the rear. The decals are not fantastic but definitely usable when you want to build the Aeroflot version. Also, the kit includes a stand that could hold the actual 1:1 airplane |

Thanks for your description, I'm really impatient to "investigate" that kit. It's just incredible how Zvezda improved the overall quality of their kits in 5 years, almost from zero to hero. And it's not like if they were expensive, they're cheap, man ! I guess you could buy 2-3 kits for the price of 1 Hasegawa Embraer 170 and still end up with something more detailed. I have no idea if they're listening (probably not) to what airliner modellers want in 1:144 but, IMHO, they can pump out anything they want (even a 1:568 Dassault Mercure) as long as they maintain this fantastic quality/price ratio ! |

Zvezda stopped production of SSJ 100. They will probably change box picture. Thier representative said that they had legal issues with Sukhoi.

Is it true?? Does this mean the Sukhoi kit is canceled (forever)???? Say it ain't so! I havent purchased it yet, I thought there is no need to hurry as it would be available a long time! But now it has become a rare limited jewel? Just imagine they would cancel the 747 due to issues with Boeing hey!

Canceled or not, looks like I'll have to buy more : I got 2 from Aviation Megastore last Friday, it's such a beautiful little kit that another 8 boxes in my basement wouldn't sound too much. And at €14 something, better be quick. I guess it's more about using the Sukhoi brand name without permission rather than canceling the kit production but I could be wrong. I heard that "American helicopter firm with a -sky name" is the same, you write their name without their express permission, you'd better run fast ;-) Chris, I got your 3 747 window decal sheets in case you still need them. |

I already thought it was strange that the box shows the prototype while the decal just includes the Aeroflot scheme. I'm glad I have my kit in my stash safely, as the Aviation Megastore ran out of it (your work, PMG? |

Hey, come on, I'm a good guy, AMs had 4 in stock... I got 2, a guy just before me got 1 so 1 left as of Friday 23rd Sept. Well good news they'll still continue producing the kit, albeit with a different boxart and/or decal. This kit is just crazy, the fit is wonderful, just a very slightly warped fuselage right half and a piece of sprue molded in the 1 part intake (like on the 767) that will be tricky to cut off without damaging the intake trunking... little putty job here. As usual the recessed details are one of the nicest I've seen on an airliner injected kit, the best being IMHO Kurt's lovely recessed details on his resin kit. The surface is a little grainy but nothing "laine de fer" (I don't have an exact translation, would be something like "iron or steel wool" ?) wouldn't solve. I can now picture how good will look their Tu-134, supposed to be released in a few weeks, and the grand 747-8 Intercontinental now expected in January-February 2012. I thought Hasegawa's Embraer 170 was the nicest small size 1:144 injected kit, it just got its @ss kicked by Zvezda's brilliant Superjet ! |

I certainly hope their Tu-134 has a clear windscreen, 'greenhouse' nose, and cabin windows, unlike the AZ kit. Really looking forward to the 747-8I!! I'd love to see the order book for that one get a little fatter, but perhaps in good time. Plenty of whiffs to do (Pan Am 747-821 anyone??) J |

Purchased my Sukhoi Superjet 100 on Ebay a couple of days ago from a reputable vendor in the UK. Looking forward to comparing the kit with the Hasegawa Embraer 170. Like others, hope to see some future decal offerings as the aircraft is delivered to it's customers. Now, the TU-134 offering is on my radar. My kit arrived in today's mail. I must say that this is one well done model kit. Zvezda have outdone themselves with the amount of fine detail and scribing. Very comparable to the Hasegawa Embraer 170 kit. A must have for those that like small modern commuter jets.
