Does anyone know if Alaska had this special scheme (sunglasses on Eskimo) only on their MD80's or did it even go as far as the 727's. Has anyone built one of these models?

Can't help you with your question but I have another related one. Are there decals for the Eskimo with the sunglasses MD80? I think it was a different scheme but related where there were cartoon bubbles next to the windows with people saying "great" and "thanks". Know of any decals for this as well? Ken |

Ken, The bubbles came out sometime in the 90's and I only saw them on their MD80's, the eskimo said thanks, and two other bubbles said swell, and good choice. Don't know of any decals made to represent this scheme, but you could always use the flightpath Alaska MD80 decals, and some white decal paper and make your own from home or at your local kinko's.
