Hey folks!

Just a quick note to say that with all the recent hullabaloo about Hannants credit card data being stolen, it has now transpired that globally more traders were hit as well.

Hobby Search in Japan for one: http://www.1999.co.jp/info_card_e.html

I, myself, have just today been notified by my bank of a suspicious charge from AT&T. As I am in Australia, that doesn't make sense, so my card account has been frozen pending a new card too.

I haven't ordered from Hannants for a year and haven't as yet re-registered for the new site, so it definitely wasn't Hannants in my case.

The breach may have occurred at one or more of the large credit processing firms that handle the bulk of the credit traffic.

I feel that people such as David Hannant, who have been under enormous pressure recently, can now feel both relieved and exonerated from any fault about this matter.
