Hey everyone, How do I go about painting diffent shades of metal on the say surface of the wing. Useing metalizer paint? I guess what I want to say if how do I mask off the area's? Ed On the bench... |

If you want a brighter metallic loo, I recommend using aluminum foil. You can purchase Micro Foil Adhesive to apply the sheets yourself or get the kind that has the adhesive already on the back of it. Terry |

Paints such as Alclad will give different results depending on the base you paint underneath it. if your base is gloss black, you'll get chrome. if your base is white, you'll get highly polished aluminum. if your base is one color (say, black) and you lightly sand it before applying alclad, you'll notice a light difference in shades after painting.
