I am attempting to model/plan an approximate version of the Bradley Terminal at LAX, as I grew nearby and used to ride my bike to Imperial Hill regularly.

I'm noticing that some of the more common heavies are hard to acquire in 1/400 scale. For example, Lufthansa, Qantas, and KLM 747-400 seem to be out of stock everywhere and selling for well over $100 USD on the second hand market. That seems outrageous to me.

Are all of the diecast models from Phoenix and/or Gemini limited production runs? Or, do they restock the more popular models?

Any imput is appreciated,

You could consider going 1/500, Herpa has all of those available for better prices and pretty good quality. I've got one of their LH 747-8is.
