Awesome find, Michael! The Dash 80 is one of my favorite planes of all time, and seeing photos of her during construction and in the original configuration are real treasures of aviation history.

On a trip to the Washington DC area I visited the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy annex near Dulles Airport. MAINLY to see Dash 80. Guys, it was beautiful. I know you're not supposed to, but I just HAD to touch it. The number 1 engine hangs out over the walkway, and I just reached up and ran my hand over it. Walked all around, taking pictures. One of these days I'll figure out how to post them here to share with the group. If you can ever get there, do so...
