Danny Coremans of DACO products has been teased that all of the airlines that he makes model decals for have gone bankrupt. There does seem to be a common thread between airlines with "face" logos and their demise. Some I came up with include: PSA, National, Eastwind, PeopleExpress, MGM Grand Air and Valujet. Alaska seems to be the one airline that bucks the trend. Can't speak for Cayman Airlines but I do know that Hawaiian Airlines haven't been doing so well. Ken |

Just to add my Wortheless cents(sense?), it would've been two, but you know, pilot pay concessions... I noticed that every airline that advertsied on the Shea Stadium billborad in New York has folded. I remember seeing Eastern, Pan Am, TWA (my outfit). They're all gone now. Now the Dixie Dummies... oops sorry, Delta is up there. I hope this isn't a sight of things to come. |
