Hi there! We noticed you don't like ads, which is fine, but you're depriving us of crucial revenue needed to keep the site up and running. If it wasn't for ads and member support, airlinercafe would be not around today. You can simply whitelist airlinercafe.com in your ad-blocking program and surf the site as normal or, better yet, upgrade to an Upper Deck membership to support airlinercafe and surf the site ad-free and guilt-free.
Model built/painted by Jim Childs (ex-Flight Designs). Joint effort on decals, as I hand painted the Arabic letter onto clear decal paper over the top of the light box. Oh such fun! The B747s were never delivered to Libya due to US embargo on trade.
Built in 1976 using the old Revell kit. ONA flight attendant designed the scheme for a company bi-centennial contest. Never did glue the engines on as the are not JT4A's. Perhaps now would be a good time to get the F-Resin ones?
