Engine Finally finished with paint, ready for decals and weathering

Decals are on the way from a new source that scanned the originals and enhanced them, they are in the mail. Lead edges are protected with masking and will be removed just before clear coat.

reshaped nose turned out nicely, Revells nose looks more reminescent of the DC-10

Tail turned out ok. The patch will lay under the decals luckily. More pics when it is complete...

Windscreen was pulled off while removing the last of masking. New one is on the way. Decals are from oldairlinerkits.com, draw decal, and AHS.

Kit it the Revell 70's issue tristar. Long live the three holers.
