This is the start of a project! I am converting a 1/72 DeHavilland Dash 8 into a Dash 7. The fuselage will be stretched, using a second -8 kit. (NS)Tyrolean scheme will be applied.

The nose will have major "plastic" surgery, the wings and horizontal stab will be built from scratch. The -8 PW-120A engines will be modded to replicate the -7's PT-6's.

More progress this week. Next the ailerons, elevator, flaps, and engine nacelles will be built and installed.

The nose has been recontoured to represent the -7. The wings were scratchbuilt using black and white sheet styrene, to help keep the sanding uniform.
