Primering the model. Will be in Royal Brunei livery.

Adding white metal to slat sections 2 and 5. Parafilm used as a masking medium.

Preparing model to receive corogard paint (dark grey). 3M fine line tape is excellent for masking. I use it to mask engine intakes as well. Will be in Hawaiian livery.

Liquid masking film used for leading edge and flap canopies, Parafilm for the aft wing. Some areas where Parafilm and blue tape meets secured with liquid mask to ensure no paint will go between while airbrushing. Will be in Hawaiian livery.

Alclad paints used. Duraluminium for the intakes, Aluminium and Jet Exhaust for the core/hot sections. Aluminium area shaded with Dark Aluminium.

Some white paint.

Decalling the tail. I use a photocopy placed on tail to determine the cut. Then I test fit the photocopy: If fit is ok, I use the photocopy as a reference to cut the decal on the sheet.

Decal placed on the rudder. Micro Set under decal, that's why the wrinkles.

I wanted the decal to conform on panel lines, so I decided to go safe(but hard) way and cut fuselage decals to smaller pieces. First decal section is just setting with a help of Micro Sol.

I didn't count the hours I spent decalling the tail, but I'm sure it's around 30-40 hours.

Scribing recessed lines back using Grifhold's steel pin 44-P. Dymo tape used as a guide.
