Kit decals went on nicely. Cockpit decal is from LU detail sheet. Metal color on the fuselage is a mix of 90% Alclad II Aluminium and 10% medium grey (car paint).

After decalling the nose, I gave a plenty shot of clear coat to smooth out overlapping decals around nose area, after which I painted black radome. Another clear coat followed. Needs some sanding before final clear coat.

How to mask a radome: I usually need several attempts until satisfied with the result. A critical eye is handy while determing good shape. Sorry, no shortcuts here! =)

In case someone has wondered what size these drills are. The two leftmost are ~0.2 mm in diameter, the larger one is 0.3 mm. Ruler scale is in millimeters.
