BPK have released their 1/72 CRJ 100, now available from Hobbyterra (and no doubt other places too, soon).

      Initial markings are for Lufthansa.

If the kit is as good as their 1/144 CRJ (and their 1/72 Boeing 737-200) we should be in for a treat....

And once again, Revell Germany lost out. I begged and pleaded with them to do this kit years ago. It took them the better part of 20 years to finally do the C-54 I begged them to do in time for the 50th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift in 1998.

Yep. They have their agenda I guess. Oh well.

The BPK CRJ kit is very nice! Well worth getting, especially since it's the only game in town.

Looks like a nice kit. Do we need a walk around gallery for the CRJ?

Yes please!! I shot two rolls of film on the ones I used to fly, but the prints and negatives have disappeared over the years.

I just received my kit today. It's another great model from BPK. The front face of the engines is a resin cast that needs to be seen to be really appreciated - all the blades have the cambered twist of the real items! Really nice piece of casting. The exhaust is resin cast too with very nice detail that will benefit from careful highlighting to really show it off.

The panel detailing is sharp and tidy. If you've got the smaller 1/144 scale kit from BPK, you'll recognise this larger kit.

I can't wait to start it.

And on the side of the box is a future announcement - a 1/72 737-100!!

This is purely theoretical at this point (I'm just asking...)

Would anyone be interested in widget era Delta Connection (Comair) markings? I've got a lot of miles in them under my belt, and if I build one, that's what I'd do...

I'd also include a detailed windshield frame with the prominently visible rivets and black edge sealing around the windows that BPK totally missed, plus probably some other stuff. The BPK decal is actually quite good overall.

FWIW, the kit includes two LH and two 1998 era colors Delta Connection variant decals. The LH yellow us pumpkin orange (useless), but you get masks as well so you can paint your own.
