I really like the way the aft pressure bulkhead is represented in these CADs. I was worried that wasnít going to be done right.

The Qantas box art suggests we will be getting a RB211 powered version as well as the JT9 of the CAD renderings and TWA box art. Should be able to cover any example as I donít recall any GE CF6 powered SPís , but I could be wrong .

Nope, no CF6 powered SPs were ever built. Just JT9D and RB.211.

      I like what I see.

The engine pylon sprue is strange, so many parts for a pylon (between 4 and 5 parts each), obviously to cater for the early and late pylons found on Classic 747s. Alignement will be sporty.

Nice JT9D engine fan with snubbers and separate spinner, very good point IMHO.

Wheel rim details look a bit simplified, ŗ la EE A310. Perhaps will we have a nice surprise from ResKit ?

Multi-part landing gear wells, I like this too.

Hey, it is a new mould 747SP injected kit after all, I cannot wait !

      Cheers, Stephane

Interesting choice on the pylons. If that is in fact the early style outboards, that only applies to one SP - the prototype before it was delivered to PAA. All production birds had the later style pylon with the cranked aft end.
