Iíve been looking at doing a short radome Constellation and was looking at the minicraft kits. Several show a short nose (NW, AF, EA) on the box art and I saw the side of one that had a built up model with the short nose. But from an online search of sprees only show the minicraft constellation to have one type of radome. Any insights?

I've never seen or heard of a MC kit with a short nose.

Me either - thatís why I was taken aback when the side photo on the box showed a small radome nose on a built model.

They've been known to put photos of build-ups of other manufacturers' models on their boxes. Ask me how I know

all the MC kits do have the short randome nose option. The part is included but it requires to cut the long nose off.
If you look at the sprues photos on the modelling madness review, it is in the top right of the photo next to the landing gear.

It looks horrible. You cant replace a radome with the short nose and it look right unless you replace the nose nearly back to the wind shield area. There was a transition ring that went over part of the nose for the radome to attach. It flattened out at the top.I have a photo that shows this, but cant find how to load it on hear.
