YES ENGINES ON AIR NEW ZEALAND PLANES ARE BOEING LIGHT GREY. Air New Zealand flew Boeing-747-400 and Boeing-777-300ER with Lord of the Ring C/S. Since you're in London you can look for X-tra color BAC 707 Grey.
Do you know about https://www.airliners.net and https://www.jetphotos.net???? There are plenty of photos that you'll find helpful and also a quick search through any search engines will bring up ANZ Lord of the Ring photos by the tons. Hope you find it helpful and wishing you best of luck with your build.

Be aware that there are 2 Boeing greys in the Xtracolor range. X363 (Boeing BAC 708) is the original used on early production aircraft.
Not sure when they switched, but your 777 would likely have BAC 1109, X301. If you can't find that, a close approximation is Tamiya spray AS-16 USAF light grey. That one is a flat. So you'd need to use a gloss coat over it. HTH.
