Anybody know if BOA is still around? Looks like their website, BOA Agency, is no longer working. I emailed Marek the other day. The email didn't get bounced back, but I'm still waiting to see if I get a response.

We’ve given up on BOA. After printing decals for us last year, he went completely dark for months. When he finally did reply to an email, all I got was a very cryptically worded message about having to “realign” his business. Then he went dark again for more months, and finally told us he wouldn’t be able to print anything until the middle of this year at the soonest. That’s when we decided to bite the bullet and go with Cartograf. Can’t do business like that. I’m not sure if he went through a divorce or some other kind of personal crisis or what (that’s what I got from reading between the lines).

That's very unfortunate to hear. And I had just gotten my hopes up too! Whatever might be going on on his end, hopefully he gets through it!

He's definitely still around. Hannants have just announced new releases of 737 Max-8 Smart Wings, CRJ-700 Adria Airways and 757-200 Air Slovakia from BOA decals.

He doesn't appear to be doing any outside printing. At least not for us.

I agree, i was working pretty well with him for 2 years, however about a year ago he told me the same, bad moment, etc etc, so i had to switch to another print house.

      Wish him the best.

There isn’t really anyplace exactly like BOA. Everybody else has much higher minimum runs, and are thus much more expensive.

Crazy, isn't it? BOA did three airliner decal projects for me and a buddy and I'm very satisfied with the results. There really isn't any other print shop with prices that come even close to the low ones BOA was charging, so without them or something comparable we're done for now. Life happens

All of F-RSIN's silk-screened decals come from BOA, including this year's for the CL-44. Marek has always met deadlines (especially the Teldord one) and has always been very helpful. Highly recommended.

      Hi all,
I must explain a situation about BOA printery: Marek and his team works seven days in week and he don't have the time for quick e-mail answer.
They have very much orders and is a big problem to print all and especially in time which the clients needs. The printery makes on the border
of his capabilities and Marek thinks about enlargement of capacity.
About our production of airliner decals under mark of BOA - It is my job, I am retired and the screen printing and airliners are my hobby and I will
      print other ones.
Resumé: The printery is working on the border of capacity , but is not able to make all... Excuse us, please.

I have had gratifying results from POINTERDOG decals . If the artwork is in his archives, he will print a one off on request. There are alternatives as long as we can be patient. Thank the Gods for the cottage industries.

Exactly. His decals are excellent but suffer the limitations of inkhet printing in that they can't print white and they have to be sealed before they can be put in water. Getting the right amount of sealant on them can be problematic - too much sealant and they are too thick, too little and the ink floats off. I always scan inkjey decals and re-print them on laser decal paper.

      Hi all,

I got my last new decals delivered from BOA a few days ago, and an
email from Marek 2 days ago. So he/they are in business, but as always,
probably have to many orders to do :-)

      Happy modelling,

No joy. Cleared browser cache and still get this. Browser is up-to-date. Maybe some of you should clear your browser caches.

      Hi SkyKing 918,

I can open Boa Decals site with my iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air. Using either Safari or Google Chrome.
Latest updates to all those three has been made on Monday. And I can see that on Boa Decals site they are selling their latest decals which have just arrived for example on Hannants.
So I think at least my machines work fine and are updated.

Hope that you find the way to solve your problem.

      All the best,

      Kusti

P.S. I´ll let you know if there will be any changes on my side

Safari on my iPhone 6S+ takes me to the same page I posted earlier. Correction: I posted earlier that the domain was up for sale. I was in error. The first paragraph on that page translates as:

"This domain was registered on Web4U s.r.o. and is already fully functional.
There is no internet presentation on this domain yet, it is waiting for the presentation by the domain holder to be put into operation. E-mail services are also fully functional."
