Almost ready to be released in Germany, Revell has already sent some photos of their upcoming A321 Neo model kit to its dealers. Enjoy

I haven't seen a Revell A321 in years - is this the old kit with new engines and winglets, or a completely new tool?

According to Revell its a new mould, but looks more kind of an hybrid (Revell-Zvezda) kit to me.

Good stuff. It does have a kind of Revell/Zvezda hybrid look! Are both engine options offered? The engine frames have very slight differences in their layout. And it has a WiFi dome too, nice.

That is absolutely NOT the old Revell kit.

The old kit only had a clear windscreen, this one has a complete cockpit clear section. The old kit did not have a separate nose cone, this one does. The old kit did not have a separate rudder, this one does (a very Zvezda-ish feature). The upper wing halves also appear to be joined together on the new kit whereas they were completely separate on the old one.

I'm glad that the Zvezda influence hasn't led to silly gimmicks like the dropped flaps on Zvezda's own A320/321

Looks nice! I see two engine sprues which is a good sign. The gear/gear doors are suspect though.

Make sure you check your door configs... most A321 NEOs after the first few deliveries have the new config. I believe all LRs have it too.

Happy to see continued 1/144 airliner releases in a world where everyone is lost in their cell phones and tablets.

I really like how the radome is its own piece. Wish all kits had that!

Definitely a new mold, and not the Zvezda one either. Good to see they included both engine types as well on the sprues.

Looks like the the kit has the standard A321 4 door config vice the newer 3 door and the two smaller over wing emergency exits config? Get your filler and sand paper ready.....

It is always something, isn't it?
