      Looking for a paint recommendation for the new Delta Blue. Almost looks black on some of the photo's I have seen.

      I would use U.S. Insignia Blue.

      For acrylics, I use Tamiya Royal Blue X-3 for the current Delta Livery.

      If this Helps their Blue is Pantone 654c according to the brand manual.

      The Pantone color called out in Delta’s corporate image guide is, for all practical purposes, identical to FS 15044, Insignia Blue. Blue Angels blue is far too bright and “electric” for DL’s current livery.

      I used MM Blue Angel Blue for my 757 a few years back, came out looking about ok in my opinion:




      I guess you can be the judge of it yourself.
