Just got my copy of Dan Dornseifís new tome on the 727. Full disclosure - I did the color profiles for Dan. But that said, this is an incredible book! Dan has outdone himself. Itís literally going to be the last word on the good old Jurassic Jet! In depth background, design history, service introduction, service history, technical specs, details (galore) - literally the only book youíll ever need on the 727! An absolute must-have!

Has the book been officially released? The normal vendors all have it for Pre-Order...

Look forward to seeing it. The seven years I spent on the Tri-Jet were some of the most enjoyable flying I have done. Great machine!

Can people share some vendor options? Not to be negative but I ordered the 737 book through Amazon and it arrived loose in the box with a torn dust jacket. Fail....I returned it and got a good copy but what a shame that the first copy was damaged and that a little bit of packing material could have prevented the damage.
