      Hi to everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can provide any feedback regarding the quality of Pas Decals. I have never used them and was thinking of buying the Pas Decals Southwest B737-700 “Penguin livery” as well as Aeroflot Nord B737-500.

Thanks for your help in advance,

      Hi,

      on the positive side:
      - The PAS decals are actually excellent to use. I've used them a couple of times. They are not too thick and neither settle immediately nor take ages to settle, so in terms of applying them for me the most user-friendly.
      - The Print quality is really good as well.

      On the Negative side:
      - The white decals are not the most opaque ever. For that I'D recommened to buy two decal sets and put two decals above each other. I will search for a photo and then you know what I mean.
-I would recommend to really check the decal sheet in advance, as with other vendors sometimes the decals are not correct or some times some stuff is missing. The new KLM 737-700 still gets sold without a tail logo (!!), I wrote a message for that but didnt even get a reply, might be a language barrier.

So my verdict: They have nice quality . But check the decal sheet before buying. And buy directly from PAS decals, they are much cheaper there than if you buy them on ebay or so.

Here it gets vivisble what I mean with white decals not being opaque enough (you only realise it on large decals though, not on small titles). With one decal they are not really shiny white and somehow transparent. If you put another one over it it gets perfect though (see the middle). And two decal sets there are still cheaper than one decal set from other vendors ;-)

On the Aeroflot you are doing it shouldn't matter. On the Southwest I'd either buy two decal sets or paint the white.
