I am building a paint color data base by airline and would like to post it to a forum. How do I do this?

PDF's were designed to be kept in their original form, while disabling readers the possibility of changing it. This means you can't post them to a forum directly. There's some options though:

      1. copying all text from your file and pasting it into your message. This will erase most formatting you gave it while making it in MS Word or something alike.

      2. saving it as images, uploading those images to a hosting page, and linking them here (just like you would when posting pictures on a forum). I'd recommend Imgur for that but there's plenty of free providers, some good, but mostly bad.

      3. uploading the PDF on some shared space and linking it here - that way people can download it. I can't recommend any providers for that, anyone else?

It's actually quite easy. You can insert a thumbnail of the PDF here which will link to the PDF file, but first you have to upload the file to your personal file space.

      1. Click on 'My files' at the very top. This will take you to the page where you can upload the file.
      2. On that page, click on the 'Choose File' button to browse for the file to upload. Select it and click on the 'Upload' button. This will upload the file to your Personal File Space (PFS)
      3. When creating or replying to a forum post, at the bottom left of the text editor, click on 'My files' which will bring up a small window where you can search for the file.
      4. Find the file and click on the black icon at the very right of the file name. You might have to scroll to the right to see it. This will insert a thumbnail like the one shown below.
