Herpa is planning to eventually release their Limited Edition version of the Alitalia/Continental DC-10 model# HE510998; Hopefully Herpa will do a much better model than Dragon Wings. The DW version was nice. I am going to try to add this new version to my collection. So far the Herpa website doesn't show a photo of the actual model. Only a split photo of a AZ & CO DC-10; The CO photo shows the old red ball livery. I guess the actual model will use the current CO livery. If anyone wants to take a look use this URL:

      http://www.herpa.de/herpa_e.htm

Once you are on the webpage, Click on the \"Collect Database\" button on the left side of the screen. The next page will prompt you for the search. Search with \"Alitalia\" not the model number or it won't bring you to the correct listing-(don't know why); Then a list of all Alitalia models will display & among them you will see the model# 510998. Click on the number to see it.
What's everyone's opinion about this new model? I hope it will have success.

      Regards,
      Salvatore
