Sad news! CBC news reporting that Jetsgo has ceased operations immediately due to difficult market conditions. Read article here: http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/2005/03/10/Jetsgo-050310.html

We're keeping our fingers crossed for you, Andrew.

      Hey Thanks Romy

Yes I heard it first thing this morning when I got a bunch of emails from fellow co-workers at 6:00am.

A little bit of an eye opener. There will be lots of more things happening in the airline business in Canada this year.

Time to dust off the Resume.

      Cheers

Yeah, crossed fingers Andrew, hope another airline picks you up and gives you a job. Hope you and all your collegues get a new job soon. RIP jetsgo. Their livery realy suited the Maddog.

Oh boy, I knew I should've released those decals sooner. Andrew and all the others at JetsGo, good luck with finding another employer. Now I'm not so sure how well the decals will sell. Airlines that aren't around anymore don't sell well at all, except for Braniff, Eastern and Pan Am. The thought didn't even cross my mind, I thought they were doing ok. I was really worried about a new scheme being introduced while the decals were at the printer.

Ditto for me. JetsGo was a common site at Winnipeg Int'l. I would definitely like something to remember them by.

Sorry to hear about it, Andrew. Hope you will find something soon with the industry picking up in Canada.

Perhaps a dual F100 and MD83 sheet can be released for Jetsgo?

Andrew, its always a sad day when a airline shuts down but when it effects you its really a rough one. I'm sure you'll be able to be picked up by another carrier in short order. Vaughn

Andrew I hope you will fly again shortly in another airline. We have had a lot of bankrupcy also in France recently and some collegues are still trying to fly.

All the best and come back soon in the most beautiful office in the world...

      Hey Fellows,

      Thanks for the good wishes!

At least I'll have a little time to finish up a few airliners.

      Hi Guys,
Not to worry, the JetsGo sheets will be released soon. I was just saying that sales would have been a lot better if JetsGo was still around.

      Hey Andrew,

This question maybe too soon to ask but have you considered coming to Asia? Lots of hiring going on here still and if you are interested, let me know.

At least you kept your sense of humour, very good, maybe we can get someone to do an update bit for Ahmed's decals.
Good Luck with the job hunting

I've been hearing on the radio that Michel Leblanc, founder of Jetsgo, may attempt to launch a new airline if given permission. Apparently the MD-80's have been returned to their lessors, but the Fokker 100's, which were apparently purchased by Jetsgo, would be utilised by Leblanc should the government allow him to start another (ad)venture.

Should be interesting to see where this one goes!
