Check out the new Thai livery on this A345.

      http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=797472&size=M&sok=JURER%20%20%28cubgb_vq%20%3D%20%27797472%27%29%20%20BEQRE%20OL%20cubgb_vq%20QRFP&photo_nr=1&prev_id=&next_id=

I think its rather bold and attractive but still lacks something. What do you guys think?

the tail is so loud and te nose is so.... white. Its nice that they didn't go all white super boring, but its definately not the distincitve classic that the old livery was.

I think this is the first time in a long time, we can say that a new livery is not bad. I think they just need to fine-tune it a bit by increasing the size of the logo and title on the fuselage. Also, painting the engines purple or gray would look better too. Or even just the logo on the engines would probably do.

Don't know about gray engines, but I'd be all for some billboards titles

Wawooo ! I like it very much, especially the "disco" purple colour applied on the tail and the new title lettering, very classy indeed.

However, some colours on the engines would be much appreciated, such as the same rear fuselage pattern applied to the engines but I guess this would be too costly in the event of an engine repair or repaint.

I think we will need to see it on other types to get a better feel, sometimes it looks good on one type, but rubbish on another, the 747 comes to mind, with all that white at the front, may not be so good, and would suit billboard titles more.

Guess it's a matter of balance between the colours, and at this stage we will have to wait and see

That's what I think too. It looks good, but I think the belt should be further to the front of the plane. Can you imagine this livery on the -600s (or 773s) they will get. If the colours all stay where they are now, you'll have an extra 7.5 metres of white tube to look at.

      In progress:
      An-124 Volga-Dnepr
      Daco 737-300 VARIG
      Challenger CL-604

I've only seen comparable color matchups at some South Beach Halloween parties. Nope, sorry - I don't like tinfoil sheens. I thought the old war canoe design was wonderful. This one doesn't appeal to me.
