      Hi All,
After looking at the Tu-134 thread and noticing all the missing images, and in some other threads as well, I've decided to not allow external images anymore in forum posts. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but it looks really bad for a thread to be talking about "the pictures below" when nothing is there, or you see a big X. Please learn to use the airlinercafe.com system, and for those of you using it already: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Each member has enough space allotted in the "My files" section to upload images for use in forum posts and the gallery as well. External images are not reliable, in certain cases the host can disappear entirely, and who's to say your images will stay at some site if you decide to close your account there.

If you are not familiar with the airlinercafe system, please see the threads below, thanks.

      Hi Ahmed,

ok no problem, I use this method for a long time anyway resulting in some PFS-overflow. So what if the personal file space get's full over the time (happening relatively quick)? If I erase older images, isn't there a X in various threads containing these images as well?

Yes, that is correct, but the idea is that members here will not delete the images knowing that they may be used in a forum post somewhere. For example, I have a folder in my PFS titled "Forum Posts" to let me know that all those images are used in a post somewhere.

Right now Members get 10MB of space and Upper Deck Members get 50MB of space. One way to make maximum use of the space is to make sure the images are optimized for the web, resulting in smaller file sizes to fit more images. I can increase the allowances if needed.

      Regards,
