AT Nuremberg Toy Fair 2015 this is shown.
I don“t know if this was known already.

Funny, the Italeri ATR-42 appeared once again in a list for 2015.

Both are great news. Hopefully we will finally see the Italeri ATR-42 !

i'm really surprised absolutely noone here cares about a possible ATR release in 2015.
If they really do this, it would be so great and much better than an Embraer :-/

Whatever pleases you. Whilst I quite like the ATR and have a few in the stash ready to build, I'm looking forward much more to the Embraer.

Speaking only for myself, my one and only flight on an ATR-42 was such an abysmally bad experience I hope I never see one again.

Speaking for myself, I was disappointed when it didn't materialize first time around. I'll be glad to see it, if it does eventually get issued, but I have plenty of new stuff to keep me occupied until then.

If the Hase 78-9 is anything like the 78-8, it will be a fantastic kit!

No reason to think it will be anything but a new fuselage. They could tone down the panel detail, especially in 1/200 scale. Their newer kits all have pretty heavy panel detail.

It's kind of like having a flake for a girlfriend... you don't care because you've been let down so many times before. When she does put out, no matter how bad she is, it'll still be good.

      Ouch

Kinda true in a way, most of us have been waiting is it 3 or 4 years or more since it was first announced, still a nosho, bit hard to get excited, maybe when I see a sprue shot.

Why wait for an ATR that never gets released when I've been offering a fine plastic 42 and 72 since 2012?

      http://www.f-rsin.com/pages/collection/atr42.html and http://www.f-rsin.com/pages/collection/atr72.html

      Just saying.

I was actually thinking the same thing Laurent. Your ATR-42 and ATR-72 are fine models.

Well, finally we've got sprue shots!! It looks pretty good. However, it looks to me the nose is off, but I'm really not an expert on ATR's. What do you think?

I haven't seen the PAS ATRs, but I think Laurent's -72 cleans up pretty well:

You are comparing a plastic and a resin kit. They don't really compete.
